Robert Baker is a lover of good design, good writing, and video games. He has studied user interaction, motion graphics, various digital painting styles, sound design, and writing.
Since as far back as I can remember, I have created things. Stories with illustrations, fake menus for games that didn’t exist with characters and backstories for tales that haven’t been written. I started designing for others in high school, where I designed the logo for my local police department’s fishing team. From that point on, my sights grew toward bigger and more ambitious projects.

Robert’s journey into UI/UX is one born out of a passion for combining data and interactivity with art and design.
First and foremost, I am an illustrator, painter, and creator of the nonexistent. I revel in the thought of creating new worlds filled to the brim with the unexplored. I’ve always enjoyed research and data collection, a must-have for writing scripts for a show like Game Theory, it only made sense that I would inevitable come across UI/UX design.
It is because of this that I am able to provide an interesting perspective to the UI/UX field. Seeing user pain points as tangents in a painting—a visual design Rubik’s Cube that requires solving.
To me, my “work” isn’t work at all. In fact, I enjoy having the opportunity to solve these issues.
